Fundamental Suggestions
These suggestions are good to use as the very first suggestions introduced to a new subject, together with a trance trigger - a keyword for dropping back into a trance state. The collection and formulation are thanks to Razor.
- No matter how deep you go, you will always be able to communicate with me, either by voice or gesture.
- You always have the power to come out of trance, safely, calmly and with all faculties intact for any reason at any time.
- When I and I alone say the word Sunflower, all suggestions and triggers will gently drift away, allowing you to come back to the surface calmly, safely with all faculties intact.
- You will only go into trance when YOU feel it is both safe AND appropriate to do so.
- Trance Trigger
- You may find that when I, and only I, tell you to melt, you can find your way back to this relaxed and comfortable trance state.
You can agree on different word than Sunflower to use as a safeword and trance break.
There are many possible choices for a trance trigger other than the word melt. Some I have seen in action include:
- Imagine a button in the middle of your forehead. Trance trigger is pushing the button.
- The word down combined with a hand on a shoulder, pushing gently downwards.
- Pulling your hair.
When picking a trance trigger, it can be helpful to align it with the subject’s particular sensations of trance, so that associations to the trigger reinforce the way the subject experiences their trance.
I would usually test the trance trigger immediately after this stage: wake the subject up, ask them what it felt like, check in on their well-being, get some information about what the trance felt like to them to help craft future suggestions - and then use the trance trigger to drop them back into trance.
