The Elman Induction and Deepener
Sit comfortably, in a soft area. Some bottoms may keel over or collapse when dropping into trance - make sure that your positions are safe and comfortable for that.
Induction
Take a deep breath. Fill your lungs and hold your breath for a moment. As you breathe out, close your eyes…. and relax. Let go of all the tension in your body, and feel how your shoulders sink down and your muscles relax.
Now focus on your eyelids. Relax your eyes and eyelids, deep and calm. You can make your eyelids so relaxed that you can no longer open them - when you feel like you might be relaxed enough, give it a try. There we go, that’s enough - you don’t need to keep trying. Just relax, and feel how nice this deep relaxation feels. Let the relaxation in your eyelids spread out through your body. Feel how it radiates out from your eyes, streaming into every part of your body and how all your muscles gradually relax as it does.
Deepener
This may be considered two different deepeners.
We shall go deeper in this trance. I want you to open your eyes and close them again, and when you close your eyes, the relaxation in your eyelids will go like a wave through your body and let you fall 10 times as deep into relaxation and trance.
Open… and close.
Let us do it again, and feel how you fall twice as deep into the trance when your eyes close.
Open… and close.
Next, I will lift your arm and let it go. Just relax, and let me control your arm entirely - do not help out at all. When I let go of your arm, feel how your entire body relaxes and you fall deeper into the trance, just like your arm falls into your lap.
